Guided tours: training courses & tutorials

Guided Training Tutorial

Written by Sabine Bunese

How the guided tours work

The training is built as modular courses, so you can assemble exactly the topics your work needs. Every course offers the same two self-study formats plus video tutorials on YouTube.

  1. Pick a course for your goal
Choose a course by the result you want. Each course lists the prerequisite courses needed to reach that goal, so you always know the right order. Most users start with the A1, A2, A3 and B1 courses.

  2. Follow the available video series
Watch the course as a YouTube playlist — short, sequential videos. Try the examples in your own licensed copy as you go.

  3. Work through the related articles
Each course has accompanying training article to reproduce the steps at your own pace and use as a reference afterwards.

  4. Our chatbot supports you
At the same time, you can consult our specially trained AI chatbot on our websites at any time.

Course tracks

Courses are grouped into tracks. Pick the track that matches your role — user, drawing author, or component manufacturer.

COURSE

FOCUS

A Fundamentals

Getting started: user interface, basic functions, creating and customizing an elevator project, exporting 2D drawings.

B Liftdesigner Drawing

Drawing creation and sheet work — templates, dimensions and drawing output.

C Common Courses

Topics shared across elevators and escalators.

EL Elevator-Specific

Deeper, elevator-specific configuration courses.

PL Product Loading

For component manufacturers: load your own BIM components and publish them to the DigiPara Liftdesigner Cloud.

TIP: On the start screen, click Videos to see the current tutorial list; an item opens the matching video in your browser. Press F1 on any ribbon item, or use Quick Help, to jump to the related help topic.

Watch on YouTube

The full tours live on the official DigiPara channel, with separate playlists per language.
