Adapt the pit ladder

Configure a pit ladder for the elevator shaft — choose a ladder type from the Common Components library, then set its step and fixing parameters.

Written by Sabine Bunese

Prerequisites

  • A DigiPara Liftdesigner project is open, with a shaft/pit where a ladder is needed.

  • DigiPara Liftdesigner 2027 release.

Steps

  1. Select between pit ladder types.
Double click on the ladder to open the Select Product window.

    • Ladder with wall fixings

    • Ladder in pocket

    • Ladder with beam fixings

  2. Configure the steps.
In the properties window, under the group [0692] Ladder Steps set the steps properties:

    • First Step Z0 — starting height of the first step

    • Number of steps — total count of steps

    • Step distance — vertical distance between steps; the step profile repeats automatically

  3. Set the wall fixing position.
Position the fixing profiles independently via Fixing 0 Z0, Fixing 1 Z0, and Fixing 2 Z0 (Z-axis position of each fixing along the ladder).

  4. Adapt the pocket depth.
For the pocket type, additionally configure the pocket depth.

NOTE: The FIXINGS support option cannot be combined with pocket mode. Optionally, a separator beam for each fixing can be activated — it is placed automatically at the same height as the fixing.

Result: A correctly configured pit ladder with properly positioned steps, fixings, and optional separator beams.
