Position the shaft lamps

Configure the lamps list setting which wall they sit on, how many there are and how they're spaced.

Written by Sabine Bunese

Prerequisites

  • A DigiPara Liftdesigner project is open, with a shaft already present.

  • DigiPara Liftdesigner 2027 release.

Position the lamps on a shaft wall

Steps

  1. Activate the list properties.
Select the LampList component in the shaft.

  2. Select the wall.
In the Position group, set Wall to place the shaft lamps on the Front, Rear, Left, or Right shaft wall.

  3. Set Distance to corner.
Value of the distance between the shaft lamps and the shaft wall corner.

Result: All the lamps belonging to the list will be placed at the selected wall.

Set the lamps quantity and spacing

Steps

  1. Set up lamps quantity.
Select Manually to activate the Count property.

  2. Determine the height of the first lamp.
Set the distance between the first shaft lamp and the shaft pit, in the Z-direction.

  3. Set the distance between lamps.
Enter the value of the distance between the shaft lamps. If the Count parameter is set to Automatically, it wll adapt accordingly.

Sychronize Lamps with Separator Beams

If the elevator group has separator beams, the lamp list can be synchronized automatically.

Steps

  1. Activate the Lamp List properties.
Select the LampList component to show its properties window.

  2. Set up the synchronization.
Under Fixing Options, choose Synchronized with Separator Beams.

  3. Define the placement parameters.

    • First lamp at — starting distance range from the pit floor

    • Distance between lamps — interval range between lamp positions

    • DZ Offset — vertical distance between the lamp basepoint and the beam basepoint

    • Last Lamp to Shaft Head Min — minimum distance from the uppermost lamp to the shaft head, counted downward from the top

TIP: If the distance between lamps is greater than the spacing between separator beams, one lamp is placed on every second beam. If it is equal to or smaller than the beam spacing, one lamp is placed on every beam.

Result: All shaft lamps sit automatically and consistently on the separator beams; subsequent beam changes are carried over.
