Add or copy an elevator

Prerequisites

  • A DigiPara Liftdesigner project is open, with at least one elevator already created.

Steps

  1. Open the Project tab.
In the Project group, click Group Shaft Configurator → Shaft Groups.

  2. Add a new elevator or copy the existing one.
Clicking New... will lead you to the Shaft Wizard to configure a new elevator. It's also possible to copy the existing one by selecting the copy symbol above.

  3. Drag and drop an elevator into the shaft.
Add it to the group as single bank (elevators side by side) or face-to-face (elevators facing each other across a shared lobby).

  4. Repeat to add further elevators or fine-tune spacing until the group matches your layout.

  5. Apply your changes.
If the check box 'Update automatically' is checked, the project will simultaneously adapt to the changes. If not, it will update by closing the window.

Result: The shaft contains the elevators you configured, arranged as a single bank or face-to-face group with the spacing you set.

Add a separator beam to a shaft group

Prerequisites

  • A shaft group with two or more elevators is already configured.

Steps

  1. Select a rail bracket of the following shaft.
Select its parent BracketList. to activate the properties.

  2. Set the separator beam option active.
In the Fixing Options Group, set the property Separator Beam to 'Yes'.

  3. The beams will be automatically synchronized with the rail bracket list.

Result: A separator beam structurally divides the two elevators across the shared wall.

Delete a wall opening between shafts

Prerequisites

  • A shaft group with two or more elevators is already configured.

  • The Additional Objects docking window is active.

Steps

  1. Select the following shaft.
The wall opening will be shown in the Additional Objects Window → Additional Wall Openings Group

  2. Delete the opening.
Just click on the Trash symbol to remove the opening.

Result: The shafts are fully separated — no longer connected through that opening.
