Step 12 of 13: Manage Sheet Groups

B1.12: Advanced Dynamic Sheet Templates

Written by Alexandra Göttert

Prerequisites

  • You understand what Overwrites are, what creates a dimension/component/annotation overwrite, and how to use *Operations to scale one overwrite across many objects.

  • DigiPara Liftdesigner and Datamanager must both be closed before the preparation step below.

Steps

1.) Download the library via Poolmanager. With Liftdesigner and Datamanager closed, download the library via Poolmanager.

2.) Open Manage Sheet Groups. Use the corresponding button under the Sheet tab.

3.) Manage a selected sheet group. Select a country (if you don't select one, the sheets are unloaded), choose the next action (Load, Unload, Refresh) and mode (Automatically, Never load, Ignore), then confirm with Execute.

4.) Use option tags to filter sheets. Option tags let you filter sheets by use case — for example, EAO (optimized for Elevator Architect Online users), Dev (optimized for component developers), or Profi (optimized for advanced Liftdesigner users). Option tags are entered in the Datamanager.

Result

You can download a library via Poolmanager, load/unload/refresh sheet groups per country, and filter them using option tags suited to different user groups.
