Step 3 of 17: Use the Explanation of Parameters and Values for the Landing Door

PL3.3: Explanation of Parameters and Values in the Data Pool

Written by Alexandra Göttert

Prerequisites

  • The new landing door is open in the Developer Work Area.

Steps

1.) Locate the Explanation of Parameters and Values. The reference developer .dwg file for a door's 3D parameters is stored at C:\ProgramData\DigiPara\dcc\DataPool\developer.

2.) Read through each typical 3D parameter group for the landing door before editing values. Use the reference drawing in DigiPara Liftdesigner Datamanager to understand what each of the following parameter groups controls:

  • Installation Position

  • Door Head (note: DT_KL and DT_KR apply to car doors only)

  • Settings for Compatibility

  • Opening Type & Door Panels

  • Length of Sill

  • Ghost Panels & Sill Dimensions (ghost panels apply to car doors only)

  • Door Frame Size left / right in X-Direction

  • Door Frame Size left / right in Y-Direction

  • Main Characteristic & Apron Size

  • Door Frame left / right – Jamb Width

  • Entry Pocket — edited via the DD_DESC column; if DD_POCKET_DY is 0, the pocket is only displayed once you set up a depth for it in DigiPara Liftdesigner.
