Step 14 of 17: Assign the Fixing Group to the Landing Door and Reload

PL4.14: Assign the Fixing Elements and related Fixing Group to your Landing Door

Written by Alexandra Göttert

This finishes the Fixing Groups work by attaching everything to the landing door.

Prerequisites

  • The fixing group's points and rules are finished.

Steps

1.) Assign the top fixing element to the landing door. In DigiPara Liftdesigner Datamanager, determine related BIM components for your landing door: choose your created fixing element for the top.

2.) Assign the bottom fixing element to the landing door. Choose your created fixing element for the bottom the same way.

3.) Define the Z-direction position for the complete bottom fixing elements. Set the Z-direction position so the complete bottom fixing elements are automatically located under the sill of the landing door.

4.) Assign the fixing group to the landing door. Determine related BIM components for the landing door: set the assignment using the RID number of the door fixing point group you created.

5.) Load your edited landing door with the new door fixings. Load the landing door in DigiPara Liftdesigner and confirm the new fixing group appears correctly.

Result

The landing door now has a complete, correctly positioned fixing group — top, bottom, left, and right fixing elements — assigned and visible in DigiPara Liftdesigner.
