Step 12 of 17: Create Position Rules for the Fixing Points

PL4.12: Set up your Landing Door Fixing Point Positions

Written by Alexandra Göttert

Prerequisites

  • The new fixing points exist for the top and bottom positions.

Steps

1.) Define a rule for the fixing point position in X-direction. In DigiPara Liftdesigner Datamanager, define a position rule for the top and bottom door fixing points in the X-direction.

2.) Define a rule for the fixing point position in Y-direction. Define the Y-direction rule — the fixing elements are automatically located at the shaft wall as a result.

3.) Define a rule for the fixing point position in Z-direction. Define the Z-direction rule. The fixing elements are automatically positioned at the top or bottom of the landing door.

4.) Set the mode to accept the defined rules. Set a check mark for all existing rows under the DFP_MODE column, so the Apply Rules function is accepted for each row.

5.) Determine the door width range. Set the door width range the fixing points and their rules apply to.

Result

The fixing points now position themselves automatically at the shaft wall and at the correct top/bottom location on the landing door, based on the rules and the door width range you defined.
