This table holds most of the elevator's technical configuration — car and counterweight roping, safety gear, guides, buffers, and more.
Prerequisites
The DTTab master record exists.
Steps
1.) Add a record for a new DTColTab, linked to the DTTab record. In the DTColTab table (L_DTColTab), add a new record. Enter the RID of the DTTab record from the previous step into the DTC_DTT_RID column — this links the two tables together.
2.) Fill in the basic duty table description and travel range. Fill in fields such as DTC_DESC and DTC_SUB_DESC, and the travel range (DTC_TRAVEL_MIN / DTC_TRAVEL_MAX) — the travel value should be entered in meters (m). Set DTC_GP_IX to 0 — this column always has to be set to 0.
3.) Fill in the car, counterweight, and safety gear configuration columns. Work through the remaining DTColTab columns — for example car frame, guide shoe, buffer, rope compensation, and counterweight safety gear settings — following the 0 / -1 convention from the preparation step before where a component isn't required or is determined elsewhere. This example configuration is set up without counterweight safety gear.
4.) Note the data-tree-reference column for later. The DTC_DTV_GRP column is used for DigiPara Liftdesigner Data tree references — you'll fill this in once you prepare the DTVarTab (grouped) table in a later step.
Result
The DTColTab record holds the elevator's core technical configuration, linked to its DTTab master record and ready to be linked forward to the drawing and machine room tables.
