Set Machine Bed selection to:
- Select from related only: Restricts the choice to gear frames that are explicitly assigned to the selected gear machine in the Liftdesigner database.
- Select from all: Lets you pick any gear frame in the database, not only the ones assigned to the current gear machine.

Valid range for this machine bed (read-only).
Shows the valid rope-distance range for the selected gear frame.

Set RD calculation to:
- Automatically: Calculates the rope distance above automatically.
- Manually: Calculates the rope distance above manually — enables the Constraint type property below.

Set Constraint type.
If RD calculation is set to Manually, and the machine room is located above the shaft with a gear frame that has a deflection sheave, this option will be active:
- Adjust RD above dynamically: dynamically adjusts the rope distance above by setting the offset to the car/CWT pulley; the resulting value is then split evenly between the two sides — enables Difference between above and below.
- Preset fixed RD above: Sets a fixed distance between the deflection sheave's exit point and the traction sheave's entry point — enables Fixed RD above value below.

Set Difference between above and below value.
If Constraint type is set to Adjust RD above dynamically.

Set Fixed RD above value.
If Constraint type is set to Preset fixed RD above.

Set Machine bed mounting.
- Directly on the machine room floor: Fixes the gear frame directly on the machine room floor.
- Supported by 2 machine room beams: Fixes the gear frame on two machine room beams.
- Supported by 3 machine room beams: Fixes the gear frame on three machine room beams.

Set Beam support front and rear.
If the gear frame is supported by machine room beams, adjust these parameters to the front and rear projection of the machine room beams.
