Build a complete, working Machine Bed component by copying a similar one from the Common Components library, editing its data and parameters in the Datamanager, and then developing its simplified 3D geometry — profiles, positions, and colors — until it matches the machine bed you're modeling.
Prerequisites
DigiPara Liftdesigner and DigiPara Liftdesigner Datamanager are installed, with write access to the DigiPara BIM Library data pool you want to extend.
A project is open in Liftdesigner containing a machine bed similar to the one you want to create.
Steps
1.) Open your project and switch to a Machine Room view. If you don't have an engine room view available yet, change the active Plan view to a Machine Room view so you can see the machine room components in the project.
2.) Copy a similar machine bed from Common Components. Double-click the machine bed in the project to open the manufacturer library, and choose a similar machine bed from the Common components manufacturer. Use the RID number to find it later in Datamanager — this tutorial uses RID 9.
3.) Copy it into your own manufacturer module. Switch to the Datamanager and open the manufacturer module 1: Common components. Select the row with CFRT_RID: 9 and click Copy Components, then click Next to complete step 1 of the copy wizard.
4.) Choose the target manufacturer and complete the copy. In step 2 of the wizard, select the manufacturer LD-Developer (75) (or your own manufacturer module) and click Copy. Review the results in step 3, then close it and reopen the copy. Result
You now have a copy of the machine bed with a new RID under your own manufacturer module.
