Prerequisites
The global layer configuration works correctly.
Steps
1.) Understand global vs. component-specific configuration. DigiPara Liftdesigner's LDX components can be configured either globally (every component uses the same layer/style configuration) or component-specific (each component uses its own individual layer/style configuration). A component-specific configuration overwrites the global one by adding an additional component configuration alongside the LDXNone entry.
2.) Determine your specific components. Identify the elevator components you want individual layer settings for — this tutorial uses LDXCar, LDXCarCeiling, and LDXBuffer as examples. The available LDX-specific objects cover everything configurable in DigiPara Liftdesigner.
3.) Enter the AutoCAD destination layers for representation. Link the prepared AutoCAD source layers for how the component is represented in DigiPara Liftdesigner, via the LYCHG_LYRDEST column.
4.) Enter the AutoCAD destination layers for output. Set the LYCHG_COLOR column for how the component appears in an exported DWG file. If the value is set below 256, it's used as an override color for the selected destination layer in the prototype DWG file.
Result
LDXCar, LDXCarCeiling, and LDXBuffer each have their own layer configuration, overriding the global default for representation in Liftdesigner and for DWG output color.
