Create a new project

Open the shaft wizard
Click on New Elevator to launch the shaft wizard.

Set up the project information (step 1)

Enter the project data as well as the unit filter.

Define the building data (step 2)
Enter the number of stops and floor level height. These values form the basis for the shaft geometry.

Select the main project requirements (step 3)

Set different filters such as manufacturer and payload to choose a elevator configuration.

Define the elevator configuration (step 4)
Decide between with or without a machine room, the rope route and translation (1:1, 2:1 or 4:1) and counterweight side.

Load drawing sheets (step 5)
Select a sheet group or individual drawing sheets. This step is optional.

Finish the wizard
Confirm the remaining steps. The ShaftWizard automatically generates the complete 3D elevator model and loads the related 2D drawings.

Adjust and save the project
Change shaft width/depth, car dimensions or door packages as needed; swap components from the BIM library. Saving creates a project file in .ld3 format.
