After generating the elevator model, you can toggle the filters, deactivate them to expand your options or activate them to narrow the selection requirements. The filters are categorized into two types:
Model generation filters: Parameters set during the configuration process. Some are read-only, while others are adjustable.
Example: If the "Sales Region" filter is deselected, removing the restriction to Europe or Germany, a wider range of elevator series can be utilized.
Model configuration filters: Every change made to the model—such as payload, cabin dimensions, or speed—appears as a filter within the REQUIREMENTS Group. Unlike standard filters, these can be prioritized to optimize the model selection and make the search more efficient.
Example: In this scenario, the requirements are ranked by priority: first cabin width (max. 1000mm), then payload, and finally speed. Initially, if payload is set as the primary requirement, the EAO configurator may flag the cabin width as invalid. However, by shifting the priority to cabin width, the EAO then indicates that the payload must be adjusted to the width constraint.
