Payload and speed
The PAYLOAD Group allows for the configuration of payload, passenger, and speed filters. Resetting these parameters may require corresponding changes to other requirements. Available filter operators include '≥' (greater than or equal to) and '=' (equal to).
Cabin dimensions
Elevator models may be filtered by defining minimum or maximum car width and depth.
Models can also be categorized according to the cabin proportions:
Wide car - cabin width greater than car depth. These dimensions typically fulfill wheelchair accessibility requirements.
Deep car - when car depth is greater or equal to the car width.
The car height filter supports '≥' (greater than or equal to) or '=' (equal to) operators.
Within the ADDITIONAL ACCESS REQUIREMENTS group, two specific criteria are available:
Wheel chair - Filters for a minimum door width of 900 mm.
Bed - Filters for a minimum cabin depth of 2100 mm.
Counterweight location
The elevator model configuration can be adapted according to the counterweight position on shaft:
Left side: supports a walk-through configuration. This position is linked to the landing door opening directions Left or Center (where applicable).
Right side: supports a walk-through configuration. This position is linked to the landing door opening directions Right or Center (where applicable).
Rear side: Restricted to front-entry only. This configuration is compatible with all door opening types, subject to availability.
If elevator model configurations include options both with and without counterweight safety gear, this attribute can also be applied as a filter.
Entrance type
Entrance types can be adapted within DigiPara Elevatorarchitect Online after a model has been generated without restarting the project. As previously noted in the Counterweight Configuration section, available opening types are directly dependent on the counterweight position.
If the counterweight is positioned on the left or right, the rear entrance option becomes valid and can be selected. Once enabled, rear entrances are activated across all floor levels. Rear door levels can be modified within the STOPS group.
NOTE: The system allows for the manual configuration of the front entrance opening type only; the rear entrance opening type is automatically mirrored.
Five model filters may be combined to select the required elevator model:
Entrances front or front/rear: Select between Front or Front/Rear (through-loading) entry if available.
Door height and/or Door width: Set specific or minimum dimensions for door height and width.
Door opening: Configuration depends on CWT side; includes Left, Right, Center, or Automatic ("Any") settings.
Door pocket installation: Directly impacts shaft depth requirements by placing the landing door(s) within a wall niche (if supported).
Landing door portal
Within the DOOR FRONT group, door jambs for front and rear entrances can be configured independently for each elevator model on both main and typical floors.
NOTE: This setting acts as a model configuration rather than a display filter.
The main floor index is displayed in the dialog. The portal function is disabled for any elevator model that does not match the group's main floor.
The main floor can be set and modified within the Building Configurator. All other floor levels are considered 'Typical floors'.
Shaft dimensions
This group is ideal for users with strict shaft dimensions seeking a compatible elevator model. The filter allows for a specified range of minimum and maximum shaft width and depth.
Additional filters include pit and overhead height, which can be set individually or simultaneously to 'reduced' where available.
Front and rear stops
This group allows the definition of the floor levels for each elevator model individually.
Service specifications for each floor level can be set across all models in the group. If the rear entrance option is active, rear services can be configured independently of the front services.
