This rule drives the "(auto)" product options automatically, based on the created dynamic property's Yes/No value in the Datamanager.
Prerequisites
The product options and their CAD/profile assignments are in place.
Steps
1.) Open the Rule Editor and activate Developer mode. Select the gear and click Rule Editor on the Develop BIM Components ribbon tab. Select the Developer setting — required before you can add a rule component.
2.) Define the rule's description and tree structure. Add a rule component for the gear and give it a clear description (e.g. "Brake Hand Release"), setting its tree/structure fields (e.g. "Geometry enabler") so it's easy to find later.
3.) Define the rule's condition and subgroup. In the rule's matrix editor, set the condition (C1) to reference the dynamic property — for example LD("Me.L_GearPerformanceTab.GP_USER_PG_50") — with rows for its possible values (0 / 1). In the subgroup column (S1), set the matching product option to Active or Inactive for each condition value.
4.) Save the new rule. Click Save All to Database.
5.) Test the new dynamic rule. In DigiPara Liftdesigner, change the dynamic property's Yes/No value and confirm the corresponding product option — and its CAD occurrence and any related profile — switches on and off automatically.
6.) Repeat for each remaining optional component. Repeat steps 2–5 for Brake Bowden Cable, Forced Ventilation, 3rd Rope Retainer, and Encoder AE-SMRS64, so all five optional components are rule-controlled. Save the gear into the DigiPara BIM Library. Save the finished component with all five rules in place.
Result
All five optional components now switch on and off automatically based on their dynamic properties, rather than requiring a manual check mark, and the gear is saved.
