Configure the Automation Data Pool

Set up the data pool LDAWP uses for automation — import the modules your automation setup needs, and optionally install the sample reference model to test the server.

Written by Sabine Bunese

Prerequisites

  • Your LDAWP serial number is entered and LDOOP permissions are configured.

Import custom modules

In the Automation Data pool section of LDAWP Administrator:

  1. Import a custom module (ldm12).
Click Browse & Import to it manually.

  2. Optionally, enable Check Autoimport so newly added modules are imported automatically.

NOTE: A custom data pool can be created in this section, but this is not recommended for Non-Interactive service users.

Install the sample reference model (optional, for server testing)

Installs the DigiPara Sample RefModel, XMLs, and libraries into the active pool to run a basic drawing generation test.

  1. Click Install & Import.
A command-line window opens, detailing the installation steps.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

  3. Wait for the success message confirming installation.

Result: The Automation Data Pool contains the modules your automation setup needs and — if installed — the sample reference model, ready to use when testing the server.
