Prerequisites
A DigiPara Liftdesigner project open, so you can preview and combine the finished template
Access to the data pool folder (usually
C:\ProgramData\DigiPara\dcc\DataPool)Autodesk® AutoCAD® (or a compatible DWG editor) to edit the title block
A similar existing border or title block DWG to start from (found via the sheet properties)
Steps
Create a new folder for your own DWG files in the data pool.
Add a folder with your own description underDataPool\blocksfor border and title block DWGs.Find a similar existing border or title block.
Via the sheet properties, search for a suitablebord_*(drawing border) ortitl_*(title block) DWG file already in the data pool.Copy the files into your new folder.
Locate them in the data pool via Windows Explorer and copy into the folder you created in step 1.Rename the copies.
Title blocks must keep thetitl_prefix and drawing borders thebord_prefix — only change the part of the name that follows the prefix.Open the title block DWG in AutoCAD and edit it.
The object in the lower-right corner marks the title block's insertion point, which is automatically aligned with the lower-right corner of the drawing border — keep that alignment when you edit the layout.Insert Liftdesigner variables into the title block.
Add the columns or rows you need, then find the corresponding variable in the data tree docking window. Right-click the variable and choose Copy for Form External$("PARAMETER"), then paste it into the matching column of the title block DWG. Repeat for each field you want to add, then save the DWG.Combine your DWG files into a sheet template in Liftdesigner.
Replace the current drawing border and title block on your sheet with your new DWG files, then fill in the remaining title block information via the main project data window.Add your company logo (optional).
Save your logo in the data pool — any common image format except.gifworks,.pngis recommended — then drag it from Windows Explorer directly onto your sheet in Liftdesigner. Adjust its size and position via the Properties window.Save the finished sheet template to the data pool.
Go to Sheet → Sheet Template → Save Sheet Template. Sheet templates use the.ldsfile extension and are stored underDataPool\sheets. Give it a unique name — a template left with a default or duplicate name is overwritten by the next software update.
Result
A reusable standard sheet template — with your own drawing border, title block, and, optionally, company logo — saved in the data pool and ready to load into any project.
